Amazon Luna anunță schimbări semnificative în serviciul de gaming cloud

Amazon Luna a anunțat vineri o modificare majoră care va interzice jucătorilor să achiziționeze jocuri și abonamente din surse externe. Conform informațiilor furnizate, jocurile achiziționate anterior vor fi eliminate pe 10 iunie 2026, dar vor rămâne accesibile pe alte platforme, utilizând conturile EA, GOG sau Ubisoft folosite la achiziție.

👉 Restricții privind magazinele terțe și abonamentele

Amazon Luna va înceta să mai suporte magazinele terțe de la EA, Ubisoft și GOG, și va întrerupe, de asemenea, abonamentele pentru Ubisoft Plus și Jackbox Games. Abonamentele active achiziționate prin Luna vor fi anulate la finalul ciclului de facturare, potrivit anunțului oficial.

În plus, Luna va renunța la beneficiul „Bring Your Own Library”, ceea ce înseamnă că jucătorii nu vor mai putea accesa titluri din platforme externe după 3 iunie. Platforma a precizat că nu va oferi rambursări pentru jocurile terțe achiziționate prin Luna.

Lansată în 2020 ca un competitor pentru Xbox Cloud Gaming și fostul Google Stadia, Amazon Luna permite utilizatorilor să transmită jocuri pe computerele desktop, telefoanele mobile sau televizoarele smart. În 2023, Luna a introdus opțiunea de a achiziționa jocuri individuale și a făcut o extindere în zona jocurilor de petrecere.

Planul Luna Standard, inclus cu un abonament de 14,99 USD la Amazon Prime, oferă titluri precum EA Sports FC 26, Hogwarts Legacy și Skyrim. De asemenea, planul Luna Premium, care costă 9,99 USD pe lună, include o bibliotecă extinsă, cu titluri precum Alien: Isolation și Borderlands 3. Brittney Hefner, purtător de cuvânt pentru Amazon Luna, a declarat pentru The Verge că serviciul „își schimbă modelul de abonament și de achiziție” pentru a se adapta mai bine nevoilor clienților pe termen lung.
